York Street House

A new house located on the rise of the hills on the outskirts of Ballarat. Surrounded by native bushland within a sparse area of suburbia the house has strong north facing orientation. The house is broken up into two areas, namely the sleeping quarters whilst the more public living areas are located toward the back. The two areas a re broken to form an outdoor courtyard in between which also brings in north light to the living areas.
